Porto Palazzo, located in the Slow Food mecca of Turin is Europe's largest open air market. Open daily, the market is home to not only many international vendors selling their cultural specialties, but also a local Campagna Amica market, where residents sell their in season produce and freshly baked organic goods.

Perfectly timed to match with the end of a day, starting at about 6pm is the Italian Aperitivo. Here, offered at near every bar, you can grab a drink and with it comes a great buffet of food at little to no extra cost.
On Valentine’s Day, the chocolate holiday, Michele Ferrero died at age 89. Mr. Ferrero had been ill for some months previous. Ferrero was best known for the invention of Nutella spread, Ferrero Rocher, Kinder Eggs, and Tic-Tacs.
